Winter Futsal Academy Team

For Individual Players

For Who: Any individual player who is interested in playing for a competitive futsal team during the winter season. All teams will be provided with a highly qualified futsal instructor for training sessions and league games during the winter months.

Objective: Our intension is to provide extensive futsal instruction to players who are interested in learning more than the basic futsal foot skills. This program will guarantee improvement in individual skill but will also introduce tactical concepts. This program is not just for high level players but for any player eager to learn and who wants to use the game of futsal to improve their outdoor game.

Procedure: SJ Elite Futsal Academy (SJEFA) will host evaluation tryouts for all age groups to form winter academy teams. Once the teams are selected, each team will be provided with a (SJEFA) instructor. Teams will train and play league games during the months of November (end), December, January and February.

What’s included in our program:

Instructor fees for training sessions and league games.
10 training sessions (60 minutes)
9 league games (teams will compete in the SJ Super F League)
Facility fees for all training sessions
Registration fee for league
Referee fees for league
2 training/game shirts
1 training/game short
1 training/game sock

Cost: $300 per player

Tryout Cost: $10 per tryout (to cover expenses)

THE TRYOUT DATES SCHEDULED FOR OCTOBER 23-25 HAVE BEEN CANCELED AND PUSHED BACK TO THE DATE LISTED BELOW. THERE WILL ONLY BE ONE TRYOUT SESSION TO FORM WINTER ACADEMY TEAMS!

Tryout Information:

Any player interested in attending a tryout for a Winter Academy Team is required to complete an online registration form (See below). This is required so we know how many players are interested in each particular age group for staffing purposes.

Tryout fee is $10 per player for each tryout session. Participant may pay check (payable to: SJ Elite) or Cash when checking-in at the tryout.

Teams will consist of a minimum of 8 players and a maximum of 10 players.

We will carry more than one team per age group if we have enough players.

Dates & Times of tryouts are subject to change.

Players MUST wear flat bottoms (indoor shoes) during the tryout sessions. Outdoor “spikes” will not be permitted on playing court.
